Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

Operated by Revant Jain (sole proprietor), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. These Terms govern access to the Chart in Motion website, private beta, applications, data displays, and related services operated by Revant Jain (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy and Risk Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you. We do not knowingly accept accounts from anyone under 18. You must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@chartinmotion.com if you believe the account has been compromised.

3. Service scope

Chart in Motion provides charting, watchlist, screening, signal, market-context, and later research tools. Features, coverage, limits, data sources, and beta availability can change. The Free tier provides two curated watchlists (India and US) with per-user stars, columns and filters; personal watchlists are planned for a paid tier. Paid tiers are not offered until final commercial terms are published.

4. Market data and analysis

Market data can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or incorrect. Channels, signal chips, NEW markers, metrics, verdicts, breadth measures, and other outputs are analytical tools. They do not create a duty to monitor your positions or notify you of market events. Read the Risk Disclaimer before use.

5. Future AI features

Any future AI output may contain errors, omit context, or misread source material. AI-generated analysis — verify before acting. Availability, limits, model providers, and tier placement may change.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. Prohibited conduct includes attempting unauthorised access; disrupting availability; bypassing access or usage limits; introducing malicious code; scraping or reselling the service where not expressly allowed; violating third-party rights; or using the service unlawfully.

6a. Responsible disclosure

We welcome good-faith security research. Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@chartinmotion.com with reproduction steps. Do not access, modify or exfiltrate other users’ data, degrade the service, or disclose publicly before we have had 90 days to respond. Research that follows these rules is not a breach of section 6 and we will not pursue legal action for it. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days.

7. Intellectual property

The service, interface, original text, code, branding, and product design are owned by us or our licensors. Market data and third-party materials may be owned by their providers. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your own lawful purposes; they do not transfer ownership.

8. Beta availability and changes

Beta access may be limited, paused, or withdrawn. We may change or discontinue features, fix errors, impose reasonable limits, or suspend access to protect users or the service. We will try to give clear notice of material changes when practical.

9. Fees, cancellation, and refunds

The launch tier is free. No paid plan is currently offered. Before any payment is collected, the price, billing cycle, cancellation method, taxes, renewal terms, and final Refund & Cancellation Policy will be published.

10. Third-party services

The service may rely on exchanges, market-data providers, hosting companies, form processors, analytics providers, and other third parties. Their systems and terms may affect availability. A link to a third-party site does not imply endorsement.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, complete data, or error-free analysis. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or service closure. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue, including ownership, disclaimers, and dispute terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by Indian law. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer rights and any mandatory dispute process.
