Chart in Motion gives no buy, sell or hold call, price target, stop-loss level, trading call or recommendation of its own, and nothing in the service is advice made for you. Some screens show analysts’ consensus rating and average price target for a stock: that is third-party data, shown as received from our data providers. It is not our view, and we do not check, adopt or endorse it. Nothing on the website or in the product creates an adviser-client, fiduciary, brokerage, portfolio-management, or research-analyst relationship. The service does not know your finances, goals, experience, tax position, or ability to bear loss.

2. Markets can cause loss

Stocks, derivatives, currencies, commodities, crypto-assets, and other instruments can move rapidly. You can lose some or all capital, face liquidity constraints, receive a worse execution price than expected, or incur losses beyond an initial amount where leverage or derivatives are involved. Past performance does not predict future results.

3. Data limits

Prices, fundamentals, corporate events, consensus data, sector classifications, and breadth measures may be delayed, adjusted, incomplete, duplicated, unavailable, or wrong. Exchange calendars, corporate actions, ticker changes, currency conversion, and provider outages can change what is displayed. Always check the source, market, timestamp, and primary filings when the fact matters.

4. Charts, channels, and signals

Trendlines and channels are modelled from historical price data. The signal classes Breakout, Support, Breakdown and Rejection are mechanical labels from a published rule: each one says only where the latest close sits against a channel line. Read the signal descriptions in the FAQ. A signal is not a recommendation, a buy or sell call, a target or a stop-loss level, and it is not picked for you. A detector can miss a structure, draw a poor rail, label a move late, or change after new data. Different timeframes can support different interpretations. How signals behaved in the past does not predict what happens next.

5. Watchlists and screening

A symbol appearing in a watchlist, filter, sort order, NEW set, Starred set, sector group, or metric screen does not establish suitability, quality, liquidity, or future outcome. Metric values can use differing accounting periods, currencies, estimates, or provider definitions. Chart in Motion curates the India and US lists and many of the trend lines behind their signals. People involved in preparing them may own or trade shares of stocks that appear in those lists or in examples on this site.

6. AI-generated analysis

Saved Company Insights can be read during the beta; generating new reports is planned for a paid tier. Each report reflects what was known when it was made. It is not updated when new results, news or prices arrive. An earnings verdict (Great, Good, Neutral or Bad) grades the reported quarter and its outlook. It is not a view on the share price. No verdict, label or score is a buy, sell or hold call or a price target. AI can invent facts, misread filings, miss later events, use the wrong period or cite weak sources. AI-generated analysis — verify before acting. Check company filings and exchange disclosures yourself.

7. Availability and execution

The service is not an order-entry or trade-execution system. It may be unavailable when markets move. Signals, saved state, or data refreshes may arrive late or fail. Do not rely on the service as the only way to monitor exposure, meet an obligation, or manage risk.

8. Third-party material

Third-party data, links, services, and research remain subject to their own methods, licences, delays, and errors. Their presence does not mean we endorse them, and they do not endorse Chart in Motion.

9. Your responsibility

Use independent judgement. Check material facts. Get legal or tax help from a qualified professional. For advice on your own investments, use a SEBI-registered investment adviser; you can check registration on sebi.gov.in. Decide position size, timing, and risk controls independently. If you do not understand an instrument or cannot bear the loss, do not trade it.
